The Society of Government Economists Annual Conference invites submission of papers and sessions on topics that touch on or impact government programs or public policy at local, national and international levels, topics related to improvements in government surveys, data, and measures, and research on microeconomic and macroeconomic trends and issues that inform policy makers. SGE supports research and networking opportunities for government economists and those who are interested in public policy economics.
Abstracts for single papers and organized sessions should be submitted online via this site by April 7, 2017.  Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis between March 15 and April 7 by a subcommittee of the SGE Board of Directors. Notice will be sent to presenters starting March 15 through April 15. (Participants unable to submit abstracts or payment online may contact conferencechair@sge-econ.org for assistance.)
Presenters are charged a higher conference fee. Only one author for each paper is expected to pay the presenter fee (even if there are multiple authors).  Once a submission is confirmed, timely conference fee payment is expected.
