The latest edition of the SGE newsletter is now available.

EXTENDED Call for Papers — 2010 Conferences

The Society of Government Economists is proud to put forth a call for papers for two upcoming conferences:

  • Our own annual conference, to be held November 15-16, 2010 at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and
  • The annual meeting of the American Economic Association, to be held January 7-9, 2011 in Denver.

The deadline for applying to present a paper or to organize a session is June 14 for the SGE Sessions at the AEA Conference (in Denver in January 2011), and September 15 for the SGE Conference (in Washington, DC in November 2010). All applications require only a 500-word (maximum) abstract and 300-word (maximum) justification statement for each proposed paper.

Call for papers: Pennsylvania Economics Association

Pennsylvania Economics Association 2010 Annual Conference

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit papers for presentation at the 2010 PEA Annual Conference. Registrants also are invited to be paper discussants and organize sessions. Paper proposals may be submitted and registration information obtained through the PEA web site at http://aux.edinboro.edu/pea. The proposal deadline is April 1, 2010. The conference registration deadline is May 1, 2010.
