Call for Papers: 2011-12 Conferences

The Society of Government Economists is proud to announce a call for papers for two conferences. SGE is partnering with the Southern Economic Association and will have eight sessions at their conference on November 19-21. This is in place of the conference that is normally held under the SGE umbrella. We also have seven sessions at the AEA/ASSA conference to be held in Chicago on January 6-8, 2012.

Please download either a Word version or pdf version of the call for papers. There is no fee for submitting an application for paper presentations or for entire sessions. However, applications will only be accepted from current SGE members or from individuals purchasing a membership (for $25 per year) in their application. (Anyone can join SGE who shares our interest in the work of government economists.) Because the SEA and ASSA/AEA conferences have similar audiences, and because the total number of sessions at both conferences is limited, proposed papers and proposed sessions can only be accepted to one of the conferences. The deadline for the submission is April 20, 2011, which cannot be extended given the deadlines SGE faces in providing the session information to the SEA and AEA.
